
Narwhals are the unicorns of the sea, these majestic whales are a magical addition to your felt ornament collection. And I think we can all agree when it comes to Christmas and magic more is more! These adorable felt narwhals are simple to create and this pattern to make narwhal ornament can be recreated in any (or all) colors of the rainbow.
You will need:
Pale purple felt* (Amethyst Purple)
2″ square of scrap heathered purple felt (Plum Crazy) *
1″ x 2″ scrap Stiff gold glitter felt (Gold)
Sequins (Cherry Limeaide)
Black embroidery thread
*Matching Thread

Cut:
2 Narwhal bodies from pale purple felt.
1 horn from gold glitter felt
1 of each fin and narwhal belly from heathered purple felt.

Sew belly to front of one narwhal body with a running stitch you can do this with matching thread or contrasting thread for a more whimsical look.

Add front fin with an X shaped stitch.
Sew face details to front with black embroidery thread.

Sew sequins and horn to front.

Sew back to front with a running stitch and matching thread add a doubled over length of ribbon before closing or sew a loop to hang. Sew back fin to piece.
