Pine and white – school uniform colors!
Mustard seed-School bus and pencils!
Even though my school’s colors were green and white, I’d have to say wine makes me think of back to school. My favorite color for new fall clothes!
Blacktop and antique white – chalkboard and chalk
Tree Bark…. the color of footballs and Saturday afternoons at the football stadium cheering for my college team!
Doe- for the brown paper we used to cover our books with- how old am I 🙂
Mustard seed. It’s very school bus colored.
Pine because that is my college color.
Antique White. It reminds me of the fresh paper in all the notebooks ready to be filled with all the stories, notes and doodles a little kiddies heart is filled with.
Teal and Autumn Leaves for obvious reasons. Lovely, lovely.
Mustard and black bring back memories of riding the big yellow school bus to school. Morning glory also brings back memories of the beautiful Arizona sky early in the morning at the bus stop.
In South Africa we start school in January which is summer for us. All of our schools have grass fields (no icky dirt fields) and we all eat lunch outside unless it rains, so for me ‘Fresh Cut Grass’ is the colour that means going back to school. 🙂
Favorite jeans…all the new school clothes, especially the new jeans on my boys that haven’t seen the playground yet.
Egg Yolk for the color of the 8 dozen pencils I had to sharpen and send with my 2 kids 🙂
Big Apple for apples in lunch boxes.
Mud puddle because its the color of the fall leaves on some of my trees 🙂 Thanks!
Rubber Duckie, it reminds me of the yellow school bus we would take to school everyday and of the pencils we used in class every day.
Victorian rose for brand new erasers.
Why do I always receive the contest info WAY after the contest ends? Received the newsletter with this contest on Sept 16 and it says it ends 9/5. No fair!
Salt and Pepper. Reminds of chalky chalkboards.
